Michael teaches solar financial modeling and presentation in various contexts. Most recently, he taught a workshop at NABCEP's 2017 Continuing Education Conference. Michael led development of the OnGrid Tool solar financial modeling software from 2006 to 2017, and led the OnGrid company as CEO from 2016 to 2017.

Michael takes special interest in the U.S. transition to a smarter electric grid.
